About Me

Hey y’all – I’m glad you’re here.

My name is Creigh Rourke, and I am an Iowa City, Iowa, native who has been living in Lubbock, Texas. I am a recent graduate of Texas Tech University where I was an agricultural communications major and agribusiness management minor. In the fall, I will be pursuing my master’s in agricultural communications while serving as a teaching assistant.

My Story

Growing up in rural Iowa, I quickly learned the grit and passion it takes to be involved in the agricultural industry. I found myself compelled to speak up for the farming and ranching lifestyle when talking with others. Life led me to the Texas South Plains for college, and I started to write stories and articles about those in and out of the agricultural industry. As I wrote, I developed a true appreciation for each individual’s story. So, FarmGirl Storytelling by Creigh Rourke was born. I have set out to take the skills I have developed in communications and marketing to share the stories of individuals, businesses and industries through one photograph, video, narrative or design at a time.

Who am I?

I am a storyteller and educator at heart dedicated to strategic content creation and developing an immersive consumer experience to promote businesses and organizations within the agricultural industry.
